Privacy promises
- Your saved business profile, uploads, prompts, and generated posts are not used for AI training.
- Your generated images, captions, hashtags, and downloads belong to you.
- We do not sell your content or personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
- Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored directly by Social Media Forge.
Information we collect
Social Media Forge stores the information needed to run your account and generate useful posts. This can include your email address, authentication details, business name, industry, description, location, website, products and services, audience, tone, offers, calls to action, brand colors, logos, product photos, reference assets, prompts, generated images, captions, hashtags, download variants, credit usage, and subscription status.
American owned and operated
Social Media Forge is an American owned and operated company. We operate the service from the United States and design our privacy practices around serving small businesses, non-profits, and campaign teams with clear, accountable data handling.
How we use your information
We use your information to create relevant social media posts, remember your saved profile, show generation history, provide downloads, manage credits, maintain paid access, troubleshoot errors, improve app reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your customer content for AI model training.
No training use
Your customer content is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. This includes your saved profile, prompts, uploaded logos, uploaded photos, generated images, captions, hashtags, and download files. We also do not opt in to sharing your API inputs or outputs for third-party AI training unless you explicitly ask us to do so after clear notice.
Ownership and generated outputs
As between you and Social Media Forge, you own the content you upload and the generated outputs created for your account, including images, captions, hashtags, and download variants, to the extent permitted by law. We do not claim ownership of your private generations, and we do not use them in public marketing or examples without your permission.
Service providers
The app uses service providers for authentication, database, storage, payment processing, and copy and image generation. These providers process data only as needed to help us provide the service. We do not opt in to third-party AI training with your customer content.
Payments
Our payment processor handles checkout, subscriptions, payment methods, invoices, billing portal actions, and cancellation flows. We may store payment customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan status, billing period dates, and invoice events so your access and credits work correctly. We do not store full card numbers or security codes.
Files and generated assets
Logos, product photos, references, generated master images, thumbnails, and download variants are stored so you can reuse your profile, track history, and download assets. File access is tied to your account. Signed links may be created so the browser can preview or download your images, and those links are intended to expire.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or customer content. We share information only with service providers that help run the app, when you direct us to process a generation or billing action, when needed for security and abuse prevention, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data, saved profile fields, uploads, generated posts, and billing records while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain backups, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You can update profile information from the dashboard and close failed generations where the app provides that control.
Your choices
You can update your business profile, change brand fields, replace uploads, manage billing, cancel your subscription, copy or download generated content, and choose which generated posts to use. You may also stop using the service at any time.
Security
We use authentication, row-level access controls, server-side API keys, signed storage URLs, provider-managed payment security, and reasonable operational safeguards to protect the app. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so keep your login credentials private and use a secure email account.
Children
Social Media Forge is built for business users and is not intended for children. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to enter into these terms where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. If we make a material change that reduces your privacy protections, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Continued use of the service after an update means the updated policy applies.
